The infant Child
brings light
into a darkened world.
Oh, we know this Light overcomes the darkness.
We know the darkness will not prevail.
Yet how can we not weep
for our children?

Lead us, Divine Child,
to transform our world
with compassion and love.
Lead us by the Light of your saving Grace.

A voice was heard in Ramah, sobbing and loud lamentation;
