NETWORK, the Catholic Social Justice Washington Lobby group, has just completed a 6,500 mile, 15–state “Nuns on the Bus” tour to raise their voices for bipartisan immigration reform. The trip began from Ellis Island Liberty State Park in New Jersey on May 29 and concluded with a rally on the Marina Green in San Francisco on June 24 in view of Angel Island, the main processing station for Chinese immigrants from 1910 to 1940.
