Kirch DeMartini writes about his reasons for supporting the Sisters for more than 20 years
I first connected with the Sisters in grades 5-8 at Sacred Heart School in San Jose. They struck me as very kind and caring. My favorite was Sr. Adrienne Maire. Later, I taught U.S. History to the 8th graders at St. Mary’s School in San Jose. The principal and 8th grade teacher was Sr. Rose Veronica, a wonderful person who multi-tasked before the word was invented. Knowing the financial plight of those Sisters as they entered retirement, and thankful for all that they did for me, has made me a steady contributor.
